Plastic Pollution

We all know Plastic is bad for our Planet, so why is it used?

Plastic is durable and cheap and we're consuming it at a staggering rate. It is harmful to our wildlife, beaches and oceans. Two - thirds of it coming specifically from land based sources. Here's just a handful of them ;

• Sewage related debris
• Poorly managed landfill sites near to our coastal areas.
• Litter dropped at or near beaches.
• Poorly managed industries.
• Litter carelessly discarded in towns/cities.

SOME MIGHT SAY...DOES IT REALLY AFFECT ME?

Plastic chemicals make it's way into our food chain. Even if you don't eat fish or spend time at the beach, we all have to BREATHE....70% of our oxygen is produced by marine plants. Of which micro plastics are destroying.

We need to act now and take responsibility for the plastic we use. Home by home, bit by bit.
